Old Folks’ Photography Contest

You might wonder what is with the ‘Old Folks’ about. Well, let us tell you!

It is a contest organized by the Interior Design and Architecture students of Equator Academy. Unlike the common photography contest where we study on skills and artistic values, this is one step further.

The main aim of this photography contest is to inspire the young people to care for the elderly with compassion and to take up responsibility as a way of social contribution.

Old Folks’ photography contest also serves to raise fund for Pure Lotus Cancer Foundation. This activity is sponsored by Fujifilm (M) Sdn. Bhd., The Library, Teroi Cemerlang Sdn. Bhd., KW Aquatic, Kung Advanced Electric Sdn. Bhd. and Ee Beng Vegetarian Food.

We would like to thank everyone who participated and made this event a success. We hope to initiate more meaningful events and contributions to community like this.

A dear note to passionate photographers:

“ Which of my photographs is my favorite? The one I’m going to take tomorrow.” - Imogen Cunningham
Never stop photographing. It is very likely that your best photograph has not yet been captured.
